1949-2009 / 60th Anniversary:

YMCA Camp Sloper is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2009. Our property at 1000 East Street was a gift from Cornelia Sloper Neal in 1949 and was willed to the YMCA for the purpose of camping and outdoor recreation for as many children as possible. Throughout our 60 year history, hundreds of volunteers have contributed their time, talent and treasure to make YMCA Camp Sloper what it is today – one of the best community resources in the area!
