Sloper Volunteer Workday Group:
The YMCA Camp Sloper Outdoor Center is fortunate to have a dedicated and committed group of volunteers who are continually improving our facility for the campers and members of our YMCA. Community Service:
We have many opportunities and projects for teens and adults to complete community service hours for school, college, church or court appointed obligations. Please contact Mark Pooler at 860-621-8194 x304 for details on completing community service hours.

Eagle Scout Program:
The YMCA Camp Sloper Outdoor Center is proud to collaborate with local Boy Scout Troops to complete their Eagle Scout Projects. We have a wide variety of projects for potential Eagle Scouts to choose from. Please contact Mark Pooler at 860-621-8194 x304 for details on Eagle Scout project options.

TEENS!!

NEW! Project of the Month Club - Grades 6-8

Monthly projects will be designed and completed by teens to help improve YMCA Camp Sloper.  some of the projects will include letterboxing, photography, blazing new trails and making signs.  Hours may be counted fro community service requirements for church or school.  Meets every Tuesday from 4-6 PM, November through April.   Contact Pat Rosin at 860-621-8194 x 308.

Teen Volunteer Program - Grades 9-12

Designed to help fulfill community service hours and give back to the community.  Members work on a variety of projects and tasks that positively affect the lives of others in our Y and our community.  Meets every Thursday from 3-5PM, November through April.  Contact Pat Rosin at 860-621-8194 x 308.
