In short, Yes.
You are not able to split a session during the registration process however, you can do so after you register for a full session. The registration system does not allow for users to split sessions, only camp administration on the back end. You will just need to call the main office and request a split session. There is a small processing charge to do so. We are not able to split Specialty Camps. Only Traditional Camps can be split.
When registering with intentions to split a session, we recommend to do the following:
- sign up for the session you want that includes the week you will be here
- Choose the payment option of pay deposit only now (full payments are not due until two weeks prior to the session starting)
- once you finish the registration process, call the main office (860) 621-8194 to request a split session. From there, our camp staff will complete the rest of the process.
If a camp option is full, you will have the option to waitlist your camper for that option.
Once on the waitlist, we will start in chronological order and offer families spots IF a spot opens up for that camp option. There is no way for you to see where you are on the waitlist, but you can always call us to find out.
There is no guarantee that the waitlist will move/decrease for any camp option as openings are determined by families who call and cancel for whatever reason (new vacation plans, etc).
If a spot does open up, we will contact you via phone call to offer which every session camp option has opened up.
We encourage everyone new to camp to join us for one of our Open Houses in the Spring!
You can register your camper before the Open House to ensure you have a spot, then come and check it out! Meet the leadership team and see the activities in person. You will have a guided tour of camp by one of the Unit Leaders and have a chance to ask any questions you have in person.
No need to commit to the whole time, just pop in and stay as long or as little as you want.
